About the Filmmakers:
Nicolas Jack Davies, Director
Grammy-nominated director Nicolas Jack Davies is a born storyteller known for his cinematic, raw and emotive human portraits across film, documentary, commercials and music videos.
He has worked with the likes of Coldplay, Elbow, The Maccabees, PJ Harvey, Laura Marling and White Lies. He is a triple-MTV VMA nominees for his work with Mumford & Sons, a collaboration that earned him a nomination for 'Best Music Film' at the Grammy Awards 2014 for "The Road to Red Rocks". |
In 2014 Nicolas (as part of directing duo Fred&Nick) filmed and directed his first long form documentary for Channel 4 television - the Grierson shortlisted "Payday" - to much acclaim.
