Short Synopsis:
Girl in Return is an intimate character-driven global tale about what happens when an adopted teenage girl decides to reclaim her lost identity. Long Synopsis: What happens when an adopted teenage girl decides to change her destiny by fighting against the system? The film follows Amy as she decides to go up against the Danish and Ethiopian authorities, trying to repeal and terminate her adoption so she can restore her lost relations and reclaim her identity. Over the course of three years, Girl in Return follow Amy's fight to obtain her deepest wish: recreating the family bond, which was destroyed from one day to the other, when she was adopted at the age of nine. |
